Hino joins V8 Ute Racing during 50th anniversary

Hino Australia has added excitement and speed to its 50th anniversary celebrations by partnering with the Australian V8 Ute Racing Series.

The partnership, which unites Australia’s fastest growing truck brand with Australia’s most popular ute series, runs for the remainder of the season, commencing with this weekend’s premiership round of the East Coast Bullbars Australian V8 Ute Series at the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000.

The Hino brand will be visible along the bottom of all the V8 Race Ute windscreens, during all V8 Ute sessions, including practice, qualifying and all three races, televised live through Fox Sports, while Race 2 and Race 3 will be broadcast live on Network Ten this weekend.

Hino Australia National Marketing Manager Sarah Rosales said the Australian V8 Ute Racing Series was a good opportunity for both brands and an exciting way to connect with motorsport fans.

“Hino has been involved in motorsport since 1991 through the Dakar Rally, and partnering with the Australian V8 Ute Racing Series is a perfect way for us to show the passion we have for motorsport here in Australia,” Ms Rosales said.

“We also believe there are many Australian V8 Ute Racing Series fans out there who are enjoying the quality, durability and reliability of Hino trucks, and will be happy to see us involved with their sport.”

Category manager Craig Denyer is excited to welcome Hino to the V8 Ute fraternity.

“Hino is a great fit for the V8 Ute Racing series and we couldn’t be happier to have them on board,” Mr Denyer said.

“We have been in discussions for some time now and it is terrific to see it all come to fruition – what better way to celebrate 50 years of Hino sales in Australia than at Mount Panorama,” said Mr Denyer.
