Genuine Dealer service – why it matters

When it comes to getting good service, there’s nothing better than the real thing. We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again: your vehicle is more than a hard-working, famously reliable piece of modern machinery – it’s a business on wheels. And when you rely on it for your livelihood, you’ll want to get Genuine Dealer service. Here’s why.

Tap into the Dealer network
By using a genuine dealer you will have direct contact with the entire dealer network, which means access to their knowledge and technology. They can provide an accurate diagnosis of your truck as a result of their access to the most up-to-date technical information available. Genuine Dealers also have their own dedicated diagnostic scan tools that are specific to each model range, which allows them to actively test individual systems, monitor live data and diagnose any issues, sometimes before they occur, saving you a headache down the line.

Here at Hino, all service technicians are provided with online manuals which cover every model within the Hino range, plus have their own dedicated diagnostic tool to communicate with all systems powering your vehicle. They also receive direct access to Hino factory support, focusing on getting you back on the road faster, working stronger for longer.

Service Technician Training
Service technicians are the backbone of your truck, like a doctor who is there to help you when you’re sick. They are taught about each aspect that makes your truck tick, plus undertake the most accurate method in servicing your vehicle.

At Hino, one of the things we’re most proud of is our technician training. All service technicians go through a comprehensive technical training program that covers aspects of the entire Hino model range. Training is either conducted at the dealership or at the purpose-built Hino onsite training centre in Sydney, run by highly skilled industry professionals.

You don’t get this kind of support and expertise with a non-genuine dealer workshop.

Budgeting for your truck
The perception of cost savings when it comes to non-genuine dealer workshops might not be as evident as it once was. Most manufacturers have introduced service agreements to allow you to budget for one regular monthly fee over the lifetime of the agreement, which means the chances of unexpected costs are minimal.

We’re no exception; and have two service agreements which can be customised specifically in order to meet your business needs.

We’ve also just announced capped price service on all Euro 5 models across the entire Dealer network. This service includes a comprehensive vehicle inspection and diagnostic check, engine oil and filter replacement, fuel filter replacement, vehicle greasing and tyre rotation – all done by a factory-trained service technician.

It is now possible for you to reliably budget ahead and get more out of your business.

Longer warranty for longer support
Genuine servicing also ensures genuine parts are used, which – as we’ve outlined before in past blogs – could be a huge contributing factor to cost savings when owning a vehicle. Using genuine parts ensures you’re using the right part for the right conditions, the availability and range of parts are greater, performance is enhanced and you get better support for older vehicles.

At Hino, we also offer a three-year unlimited kilometre warranty on genuine parts when serviced at an authorised Hino dealer.

Just like putting on your seatbelt, when the benefits and ease far outweigh the costs, there’s no reason not to go with a Genuine Dealer.
