In our support of the Toyota 86 Racing Series we’ve supplied a Hino 700 Series SS 2848 ProShift 16 high roof air prime-mover to help transport category support equipment and selected cars to race rounds.
To get it ready for the track, the 700 Series truck and transporter were wrapped in Toyota 86 livery to make it feel right at home in the race paddocks. Over the course of two days the entire vehicle was given the graphic treatment it deserved. The tall task was undertaken in-house at Hino head office in Sydney by vinyl professionals Street Impact.
Why wrap and not paint? We’ve chosen a vinyl wrap for our truck and transporter as it is a durable option which provides protection for the paint underneath.
The vinyl panels can be digitally printed to display a much sharper and vivid finish in comparison with a paint job. Additionally, this enabled us to have a more intricate design, as seen by the repeated ‘86’ insignia across the rear half of the transporter.
