DRIVER MONITOR

Provides constant monitoring of the driver’s attention towards the road using a camera integrated into the A-pillar to detect driving posture, face orientation, and eyelid status.

PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM

Radar and image sensors detect the possibility of a collision with a vehicle in front and warns the driver to apply the brakes. If the driver does not respond the truck can brake autonomously.

ELECTRONIC BRAKING SYSTEM

Brake pedal force adjustments usually made by the driver are instead performed by the electronics within the EBS system to ensure more consistent stopping performance.

VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL

Designed to help drivers maintain vehicle control and help prevent the truck from rolling over or sliding when entering or existing a corner too fast.

LANE DEPARTURE WARNING SYSTEM

Alerts the driver both visually and audibly if the vehicle deviates from its lane without the turn indicators being engaged by the driver.

PEDESTRIAN DETECTION

Detects the possibility of a collision to warn the driver to apply the brakes using both visual and audible alerts. If the collision is imminent, it can autonomously apply the brakes.

Choose between the proven 9-litre and 13-litre engines, offering up to 480hp and 2157Nm of torque, paired with a choice of three advanced transmissions – the Allison Automatic, M112 AMT, or ZF 16-speed TraXon AMT.

All models feature an Electronic Brake System (EBS) to enhance braking performance and reduce maintenance costs, while the standard Jacobs Engine Brake® provides greater drivability and operational efficiency. It’s performance you can count on, backed by technology you can trust.

ENGINE

The engine line up starts with the A09C-VP producing 320hp and 1275Nm and continues all the way up to the E13C-BK producing up to 480hp and 2157Nm.

TRANSMISSIONS

True automatic or automated manual transmission (AMT) options meet the needs of drivers who prefer the convenience of two-pedal transmissions.

EMISSIONS

The new A09C & E13C Engine meet Euro 6 exhaust emission standards before they are legislated for introduction in Australia.

DRIVER INSTRUMENT PANEL

7” LCD Multi-Information Display contains important information such as the Hino SmartSafe settings, driving economy, gear selection and vehicle maintenance data.

Automatically controls the road speed of the vehicle as set by the driver, reduces fatigue and can improve overall fuel efficiency.
